Last night I had a dream that Dick Durbin came to my apartment. He sort of walked right in, he was wearing a wool, camel colored overcoat and he gave me a high five. I said, “Health Care Reform?” he shook his head no. “High speed Rail?” again he shook his head no. Because it was a dream I was not impressed that I had our Senior Senator from Illinois in my apartment but I was mostly perturbed that he hadn’t wiped his feet and was dripping snow all over the floor.

He went in the kitchen and looked into the refrigerator for a long, long time but of course there’s never anything in there and he was still dripping snow on the floor. I followed him around with a kitchen towel and finally became so upset that I woke up.

Last night I dreamed that I was leaving work and I realized I didn’t have my keys. I decided to walk home (about ten miles). All I had in my inventory was an old film camera of mine, a Canon AE-1. As I was walking I noticed Eminem walking toward me, he pointed at my camera and said, “Let me see that”. I said, “No!” so he grabbed it away from me and threw it on the sidewalk. I tried to call the police but realized I was wearing my pajamas (a common theme in my dreams) so I didn’t have my cell phone (no pockets). I decided to walk to Wheaton (five hours away by car) and pick up the kids from a swimming party. I got to the house and walked by the parents (still in my pajamas) who were hosting the party without saying a word. My alarm went off and I was unable to finish the dream.
